What We Do

Ms. Castillo spent several years working for a large local defense firm, representing employers, big business and insurance companies. The majority of her practice was devoted to labor and employment law. Because of that expericence, she is uniquely qualified to vigourously represent individuals who are going up against those same types of entities. 

Ms. Castillo has also worked for the federal district courts in Baton Rouge and Shreveport.  Much of her time with the court was spent working on labor and employment law matters.  Her federal experence enables her to competently represent individuals in federal court with a thorough knowledge of the interworkings of the system. 

In addition to employment law, Ms. Castillo practices criminal defense and civil litigation in city, state and federal court as well as juvenile detention.  She has a large family law practice which ranges from divorce and custody litigation to intrafamily and private adoptions.  Ms. Castillo is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is one of the few attorneys in the area who represents clients in family based immigration matters and removal proceedings.
